Biography
Clinical work is often focused on one patient interaction, but the bigger picture of individual patient interactions is the field of Public Health. Pharmacists provide a unique contribution to the field through health education, disease prevention and health promotion, public health advocacy, and helping to achieve positive public health outcomes. Pharmacists are the only health care providers in the community who are accessible without charge 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. Pharmacists are the first responders in a community setting. My mission is to provide students with the knowledge, understanding and confidence to practice in multidisciplinary real world environments. My area of focus is Womens Health and my clinical practice site is Bethlehem Haven Womens Shelter.
