Biography

Dr. Arduini is dual certified athletic trainer and athletic therapist from Vancouver, Canada.  She joins the Duquesne University Master of Science in Athletic Training faculty as an Assistant Professor and also serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the program.  She received a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Applied Health Science from Sheridan College, a Master of Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health and Human Performance from Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Arduini worked extensively for 15 years in both Canada and the United States at the community, club and collegiate level as well as within the Canadian Football League and as a Performance Medicine Therapist with Cirque du Soleil. Her experiences shaped her research interests in acute and immediate care and emergency management, and she has presented multiple times at the state, district, national and international levels. She is currently researching the effects of knowledge and skill decay on emergency management within athletic trainers and therapists.
