Biography
Dr. Jaleah N. Robinson is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Foundations & Leadership. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on topics related to assessment, inclusive education practices, and social justice. Dr. Robinson remains active in the field by supervising practicum experiences, serving on local advisory boards, and coaching school and non-profit organizational leaders. Previously, she served thirteen years as a teacher and middle level principal.
Dr. Robinson's dissertation focused on the perspectives of Black parents of children with disabilities and their engagement in the school choice process. Her continued research interests include parent and community partnerships, racial literacy in teacher education, effective applications of artificial intelligence technologies in K-12 spaces, and narrative as a tool for sense-making and empowerment.
