James Tickel

James is a highly skilled piano technician with a wide range of experience. He has served in technical roles for several Northeast Ohio companies, most recently serving as a piano technician at the Cleveland Institute of Music and providing concert tunings for Steinway concerts and events.

James has a strong technical background in tuning, regulation, voicing, and rebuilding, as well as a deep musical background, graduating with music degrees from Ohio State University and Capital University. He has a passion for learning and takes pride in analytical and evidence based approaches to learning.
