Biography

Judy Barclay joined Duquesne University in December of 2024. She is responsible for professional development initiatives of University full-time faculty and staff. She designs and facilitates learning programs that focus on skill enhancement and workplace engagement, manages the staff orientation program and has oversight of the University’s Learning Management System (LMS).

Originally from Astoria, New York, Judy has over 25 years of experience as a specialist in Talent Management. She is certified in Instructional Design, DiSC Behavioral Assessment, and is a Senior Certified HR Professional, which she leverages to lead creative and strategic design of curriculum, dynamic delivery and comprehensive evaluation of training programs. Judy’s focus is on promoting cultural strengths and building confidences within the workplace with a forward-thinking, collaborative style. She has led global professional development programs throughout North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and South Africa, and chaired employee resource groups (ERG’s) in support of Neurodiversity, Performance Agility and Organizational Transformation.
