Justine Valentine serves as a Student Success Coach for undergraduate students majoring
in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering,
and General Engineering. She monitors student grades, ensuring accurate records and
generating necessary communications regarding student standing. Regular meetings with
students allow her to address academic goals, concerns, and overall well-being, providing
referrals as needed. Justine plays a pivotal role in certifying students for graduation
and ensures compliance with NCAA progress towards degree requirements for student-athletes.
Additionally, she develops and maintains student services to enhance overall student
experience and retention. Previously, Justine held roles at Duquesne University as
a Student Success Coach, Program Coordinator, and Academic Advisor within the Department
of Engineering, where she managed curriculum, budgets, course catalogs, and student
support services. Her extensive experience also includes positions in Residence Life,
where she supervised student staff, coordinated programs, and provided counseling
and conflict resolution support.
