Biography

Dr. Kraig Wray is a Clinical Assistant Professor in STEM education. Dr. Wray teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in STEM teaching methods and mentors students in their elementary and secondary field placements. His research interests include equitable high leverage teaching practices, discourse based instruction, and teacher identity and agency in professional contexts. Prior to joining Duquesne University, Dr. Wray completed a post-doctoral research position at Penn State University and taught high school science in various contexts (large urban to small independent) across the country. He has also served as an induction coach to many teachers in high needs contexts in Pittsburgh and Southern Michigan, as well as developed and facilitated professional learning opportunities in PA for teachers and teacher educators.
