Biography
Matthew Huff, a Board Certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, is the Assistant Dean for Post Graduate Affairs at Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Huff completed his graduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health and a post-graduate Fellowship at Vidant/East Carolina University Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Before joining Duquesne, he served as DIO, Associate DIO, Patient Safety Officer, and Director of Post-Graduate Affairs at the Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine. He has been a practicing healthcare executive for 16 years serving in a number of executive leadership positions overseeing academic training programs, hospital operations, physician practices, and physician recruitment. He is passionate about his experience in accreditation of residency and fellowship programs and supporting medical students and residents in their journey to becoming practicing physicians.
Huff currently serves as a peer reviewer and exam development committee member for the American College of Healthcare Executives National Board Certification Exam. His academic interests include ethics in medicine, improving population health in underserved communities, increasing access to care, and building a healthcare system that meets the needs of all.
