Biography

Robert Healy III is a dedicated educator and media professional with a passion for sports information and media. He has been a full-time faculty member in the Media Department at Duquesne University since fall 2014, where he founded and has directed the Sports Information and Media major since fall 2017.

He holds an impressive educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with minors in Sociology and Interactive Media, a Master of Science in Multimedia Technology, all from Duquesne University. He is currently pursuing his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, expected to be completed in April 2026, also from Duquesne University.

In his role, Healy mentors every Sports Information and Media major, providing guidance and support to students. Additionally, he actively contributes to the Media department's outreach efforts, enhancing the educational experience for all students.
