Biography
Staci Offutt is the Director of the Center for Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Assistant Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship at Duquesne University's Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. She runs the Duquesne New Venture Challenge and Bob's Launch Pad, the onsite maker space. Staci teaches the New Venture Enterprise, Ideation Adventure, and Product Innovation courses.
Staci has supported the growth of portfolio companies at Innovation Works, the most active seed-stage investor in the southwestern Pennsylvania region, where she worked with founders across hardware, software, and life-science sectors. She also advised companies in the AlphaLab Gear robotics and hardware accelerator and the teen entrepreneurs in the Startable program.
