Unknown Lasts
An unknown last is when you do something for the very last time, but at that moment you don’t realize it will be the last. Provost Dr. David Dausey and Duquesne alumni share bittersweet moments of how their experiences at Duquesne created positive memories and shaped the people they’ve become.
Duquesne Connections
Duquesne Alum Tony Accamando, A'66, Army Lieutenant in Vietnam co-founded the nonprofit organization, Life Changing Service Dogs for Veterans (LCSDFV), dedicated to matching injured veterans with medically trained service dogs. He didn't know at the time, not only would he help veterans, he'd also impact Duquesne's faculty and students.
Put Me in Coach
Since 2022 Fr. John Fogarty, C.S.Sp., has served as senior advisor to President Ken Gormley for Spiritan mission and campus culture. Fogarty has held various leadership positions with the Spiritans and, as of October 2024, serves an elected four-year term as the Provincial of the Spiritan Congregation in the United States.
