The MHMS Program welcomes applicants from a diverse range of health-related disciplines, including nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, social work, kinesiology, etc. Please consult with the program representative to determine if your prior degree and experience align well with the program.
The program is open to international graduates (outside the USA). Unfortunately, domestic students are currently not accepted.
Tuition for each MHMS student is set at $1,605 per credit as of Fall 2024. More detailed information can be found here. Tuition scholarships of up to 30% are available for most students.
The program typically takes 18 months to complete.

Yes.

We anticipate that most students will be able to work up to 20 hours per week. Additionally, you will have summers off to pursue work, internships, or shadowing experiences.
Duquesne University collaborates with S U Education.Group USA to provide high-quality externship opportunities for our students.
Upon arrival at DU, you can engage with faculty members of Duquesne’s Rangos School of Health Sciences and College of Medicine. The Gumberg Library will grant you access to USMLE study materials.
Assuming good academic performance, our faculty members will gladly provide letters of support.
Graduates of MHMS can explore various career opportunities in healthcare, including roles in hospitals, schools, long-term care facilities, insurance plans, the biomedical industry, government, and more. 
The program begins each Fall semester.
We accept the following English tests with your application: TOEFL (iBT) 80, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 105.
For recommendations, seek individuals familiar with your academic achievements who can address your potential for success in health administration and the healthcare environment. If you've been out of school for a few years and are unable to contact former professors, letters from employers are most appropriate.
