The Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University has risen two places in the U.S. News & World Report's 2025-2026 Best Law Schools rankings, securing the #92 position among 196 ranked law schools nationwide.

This marks the third consecutive year Duquesne Kline School of Law has maintained its prestigious top 100 ranking. The school initially experienced the largest ranking improvement of any law school in the nation during the 2023-24 assessment cycle, following U.S. News & World Report's methodology revision that placed greater emphasis on student outcomes, particularly bar passage and employment rates.

For more than a decade, Duquesne Kline School of Law has consistently outperformed state and national averages in employment placement and first-time bar passage. The School's recently released 2024 employment statistics continue this pattern of excellence, highlighting the effectiveness of its comprehensive bar preparation program, strategic career services, and engaged alumni network.

"These rankings reflect our students' dedication and focus, with their diligence manifesting in excellent outcomes," said Dean April Barton. "I also credit our exceptional faculty and staff for their unwavering commitment to preparing our students for successful legal careers."
