Bar Studies

Duquesne Kline School of Law makes it a top priority to ensure that you are thoroughly prepared for the bar examination, so you can be practice ready when you graduate.

Duquesne Kline is once again ranked 6th in the nation for preparing its students to pass the bar exam.

preLaw Magazine, winter 2024, winter 2021

Duquesne Kline was once again recognized for its excellence in bar preparation in the preLaw Magazine winter 2024 edition. The Pittsburgh-based law school ranked 6th among 187 law schools assessed over a five-year period (2015-2019) by Jeffrey S. Kinsler, founding dean of Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tenn. Kinsler’s study compared the incoming metrics for law schools and determined which ones surpassed expectations for first time and ultimate bar pass success. This illustrates how Duquesne Kline shines in providing the legal education, academic support, and bar preparation programs its students need to be successful.

Bar-passage rates are "the single best outcome measure...in assessing whether a law school is maintaining a 'rigorous program of legal education'," according to the American Bar Association.
