The 1911 Society was established by alumni who pledged funds to ensure the continued excellence of the legal education offered by Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University during the 85th anniversary of School's founding in 1996. The Charter of the 1911 Society states that its Fellows will "personally and professionally demonstrate their commitment to the moral and ethical canons embraced by their School's mission." The result was millions of dollars raised to build the John E. Murray, Jr., Pavilion.
Today, the 1911 Society Fellows program continues its pledge of excellence by supporting the mission of Duquesne Kline School of Law through cumulative financial support in excess of $10,000. Donors are recognized in four levels of support, commemorating the buildings that have housed the School since 1911.
- Fitzsimons Fellow: $10,000-$24,999
- Rockwell Fellows: $25,000-$49,999
- Hanley Fellows: $50,000-99,999
- Second Century Fellows: $100,000 and above
Fellows of the 1911 Society are committed to supporting key initiatives in the Duquesne Kline School of Law. Your generous gift transforms our School and - more importantly - the lives of our students.
