Duquesne University faculty and students from a variety of fields conduct research, publish findings and present at national and international conferences on chronic pain. Their research has been published in many scientific and academic journals, including Scientific Reports, Nanomedicine, The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists’ PharmSciTech journal, and the Journal of Neuroinflammation, among others. In many cases, students work closely with faculty to produce and present research at national conferences. In addition, faculty expertise has also been highlighted by national and regional media, including NPR and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
