Protecting Life, Property and the Environment

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department protects life, property and the environment on all properties of the University.

  • We monitor the local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as professional standards and codes in these areas.
  • We manage how the University maintains its facilities and equipment, assist in managing those risks.
  • We track developments in environmental health and safety laws and regulations, and determine which of those requirements apply to campus activities.

EHS assists the University meet these requirements by developing programs to be implemented by campus personnel and or by direct services. EHS abides by the University Environmental Health and Safety Policy.

Incident Report Form

This form is for anyone who has been involved in an Incident while on Duquesne University property or while conducting business for the University that resulted in an injury or in damage to property. Please respond as thoroughly as possible. If you do not have the information requested, indicate N/A. Individuals without Duquesne University Multipass access will need a University representative to complete this form. Parkhurst employees need not use this form. Parkhurst employees should report all incidents to their supervisor.
