Spirion helps protect you and the university from identity theft. On university-managed computers, Spirion performs a weekly scan to find personally identifiable information (PII). If PII is found, you will be required to review the results and take action accordingly, such as protecting or deleting the PII.
You will receive an email from CTS–Spirion (firstname.lastname@example.org) if PII is found on your university-manged computer. Follow the steps listed in the email to review and remediate PII, or click the Get Started button below.
Data Governance Service Requirement
Duquesne University's Data Governance Service Requirement identifies four elements that must be protected with encryption:
- Social security numbers
- Credit card numbers
- Driver's license numbers
- Passport numbers.
