Student Permit Information
2018-2019 Student Parking Permits will be available for sale starting July 25, 2018 through DORI. Student pricing can also be found through DORI.
Brottier residents requesting a Brottier Garage Permit must complete a paper application (typed not handwritten) and submit it by mail or by bringing it to the Parking and DU Card Services Office starting July 2, 2018. Applications can be downloaded here.
Graduate and Teaching Assistants
Graduate and Teaching Assistants must complete a paper application (typed not handwritten) and submit it with a copy of their contract by mail or by bringing it to the Parking and DU Card Services Office starting July 25, 2018. Applications can be downloaded here. Payment is due at the time of pick-up.
Please note: ALL paper applications must be completed electronically and printed. No handwritten applications will be accepted.
Commuter Permit Holders
Commuter parking permits are only valid to park on campus between the hours of 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. No commuter permit holder is permitted to park any vehicle on Duquesne University property between the hours of 2:00 a.m. through 5:00 a.m. Any violation will be subjected to a citation.
Surface parking permits are eligible to enter either Forbes or Locust garage/s between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. as long as the Lots on Forbes avenue are full. You must exit the garage/s and return to the Surface parking no later than 12:00 p.m. Midnight on the same day.
Temporary parking permits are available for purchase in the parking office. These can be purchased by the month, week and day-to-day.
Student Permit Expiration Dates
J permits expire January 1, 2019
M permits expire May 19, 2019
A permits expire August 18, 2019
