Participants took a campus excursion to the Society for Contemporary Craft in the Strip District to view artistic expressions of how safe and secure shelter--or lack of it--impacts people around the world.

We explored the artistic genre of satire, including instances of satire used within and against religious traditions abound. Guest speaker and award-winning editorial cartoonist Rob Rogers shared his expertise on the topic and discussed how he finds inspiration for his work.
