Day for Learning and Speaking Out 2018

Wednesday, March 21, 2018
10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Power Center Ballroom

Organized by an interdisciplinary group of faculty, staff, and students, the day catalyzes conversations that confront racism as a structural and systemic phenomenon that most affects those marginalized in our society. Each year we begin by looking at racism demonstrated by current events and then reflect on racism and antiracism within our own teaching and learning environment. The 2018 topic is Resistance, Protest and Civil Disobedience.
