Pittsburgh Regional Faculty Symposium 2019
The Pittsburgh Council on Higher Education [PCHE] is pleased to announce an open call for proposals focusing on teaching and learning or educational development for the 2019 Pittsburgh Regional Faculty Symposium on Monday, March 11, 2019. Organized by PCHE and hosted by the University of Pittsburgh, the symposium is a day-long conference for faculty, teaching assistants, and faculty support specialists from colleges and universities in Pennsylvania and its adjacent states.
Call for Proposals: We are currently accepting proposals for four session types across two themes: Energizing Learning and Environments (see attachment). You can view more information, including session descriptions, a proposal rubric, and submission criteria, on the Call for Proposals website.
The deadline to submit a proposal is Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EST. All submissions will receive a response by Friday, January 18, 2019.
When: Monday, March 11, 2019
Where: University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA 15260. Activities will occur in both David Lawrence and Wesley W. Posvar Halls.
Registration: Opens in December and will cost $25 per person. There will be no charge for graduate student teaching assistants.
