Gender and Sexuality in the Classroom: Serving Students as Allies

This session will feature a panel and discussion focused on gender and sexuality in the classroom, with an emphasis on serving as allies to students who might feel marginalized. We will provide an overview of how alliances work, share experiences, and discuss strategies for inclusion that focus on educating the whole person. Panelists and facilitators will engage participants in a question and answer session as well as individual reflection. Faculty, graduate students, and pre-service teachers are welcome to attend.
