Preceptors / Clinical Instructors
A clinical preceptor / clinical instructor is a seasoned and experienced healthcare professional who mentors, guides, and instructs students or novice healthcare practitioners in a clinical setting. They serve as role models, offering practical, hands-on training, sharing their expertise, and supervising learners as they acquire and apply clinical skills, knowledge, and professional competencies. They provide personalized instruction, feedback, and support to help students or new professionals develop the necessary clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence required in their specific field of healthcare practice.
