No application needed. All incoming first-year students pursuing any health sciences
degree who have applied and are admitted to the Rangos School of Health Sciences,
have completed the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS Profile (both required by March
15), and meet eligibility requirements will be automatically considered for The Duquesne
University Rangos School of Health Sciences Empowering Inclusion No-Loan Tuition Scholarship.

Our 5 year (3+2) program where students earn a Bachelors and Masters degree in an
accelerated format. Over 30 clinical settings to work alongside Athletic Trainers
in college athletics, professional sports teams, High Schools, Physicians offices

The only Freshman direct-admit program in Western PA which means students do not reapply
for the professional phase of the program. A superior graduation rate and exceptional

The first five-year accelerated program in which students earn two degrees under the
guidance of highly qualified and experienced faculty. Students gain valuable experience
while rotating through the fields of pediatrics, general surgery, family medicine,
internal medicine, emergency medicine, behavioral health and women's health. Every
student gets to select a 6-week elective rotation of their choice during the clinical
year.
5.5-year DPT program with Freshman admit, which means no need to reapply for the professional

can later be applied toward the full degree.

students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). It empowers students

The Duquesne University Rangos School of Health Sciences Empowering Inclusion No-Loan
Tuition Scholarship supports five (5) incoming first-year undergraduate students pursuing any health sciences
degree who demonstrate academic excellence, resilience, and a commitment to overcoming
adversity and fostering inclusion.
This scholarship provides an incredible opportunity for high-achieving students to
pursue their bigger educational goals with 100% tuition covered! Scholarship details.
Five new scholarships are awarded to incoming first-year students annually; scholarships
cover four years of undergraduate study. 100% of tuition costs covered without loans
or work-study funding. (The scholarship does not include graduate coursework for programs with a graduate component, including Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical
Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology. Additional funding will be required for the graduate segment of these programs.)
Additional funding may be provided to cover the full cost of attendance, including
federal, state and institutional awards.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
No separate scholarship application needed. All incoming first-year students who have
applied and are admitted to the Rangos School of Health Sciences and meet the following
eligibility requirements will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
Incoming First-Year Student: Must be a new Fall incoming first-year student admitted to any health sciences program
at the Rangos School of Health Sciences. Apply to Duquesne’s Rangos School of Health Sciences today.
Academic Excellence: A minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent in high school is required. Submission of standardized test scores
(SAT or ACT, if available) is recommended but not mandatory.
Demonstrated Life Experience: Special consideration will be given to applicants who've overcome hardship, disability,
a difficult personal situation, or faced some other disadvantage.
Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, verified through submission of the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile by March 15 at:

College Board- Duquesne’s CSS code is 2196; create your CSS Profile

Using a two-tiered model of community-engaged learning, Duquesne students are offered
the opportunity to engage in community-based learning and experiences throughout their
program
Duquesne students will pursue Experiential Learning Opportunities (ELOs) during their
programs, leading to an enriched learning experience and enhanced resumes or graduate
school applications
Duquesne is an R2 University with high research activity. Students in the Health Sciences
work alongside faculty to conduct research as well as attend and present at undergraduate
research conferences held on campus
