Labs & Facilities
Exercise Physiology Laboratory
Our Exercise Physiology Laboratory, located on the fourth floor of Fisher Hall is fully equipped with research grade strength, power, body composition and cardiovascular testing equipment. Students will have opportunities to utilize and operate this equipment during laboratory-based classes throughout their time in the program.
Kristen L. McMaster's Biomechanics Laboratory
The Kristen L. McMaster's Biomechanics Laboratory is located on the second floor in the Rangos School of Health Sciences Building. The lab space contains contemporary biomechanics research equipment including: two electromagnetic motion analysis systems, optical cameras, telemetry EMG, and an embedded force plate system. Additionally, a diagnostic ultrasound unit, electrogoniometer, foot switches, pressure sensors, knee arthrometer, digital inclinometers and a custom built perturbation device are housed in this facility. The laboratory is utilized by faculty, graduate students and undergraduate students studying human motion and biomechanics.
