Join us for the inaugural program "Spilling the Tea on Law School" at Duquesne University School of Law on Saturday, September 14, 2019. The purpose of the event is to bring together young people, law students, legal educators, and lawyers to discuss law school and the legal profession as it relates to the diverse needs of the community. The program hopes to engage and enlighten students in this region about the needs and opportunities in the legal profession.

The event will have an interesting discussion on "Why Diversity in the Law Matters", and we will also conduct a Mock class on Social Media and the law. Students can also learn about various careers in law from diverse attorneys, while current law students will share their experiences in law school. The program will conclude with a tour of the Law School.

Duquesne University School of Law has a long-held commitment to increase diversity among law school applicants and to provide students from low-income, first generation, and underrepresented backgrounds an opportunity to seriously consider a legal education.

We hope you will join us for this important discussion.
