Welcome to the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts, a college with a century-long tradition and a strong vision for its future. The College is the oldest school at Duquesne University and the heart of the University.

Duquesne is a friendly, safe place, right in the city but self-contained, set apart on its own beautiful hilltop. It is a university large enough to have professors who are at the leading edge of their fields, but small enough that professors know you as an individual student.

Key to Duquesne's vision is a spirit of service, combined with academic excellence. You see that spirit in the way faculty interact with students: they encourage you, they demand your best, and they want you to participate in their research. You also see the Duquesne spirit in the impressive volunteer work that students give to the community around us—for example in soup kitchens, tutoring, coaching and clean-up days.

If you would like specific additional information on what the College can offer please contact us. I can ask a student or one of the faculty to give you a call. Arrange a visit to campus through the Admissions Office.

I look forward to meeting you.
