Dr. Deborah Dillon Publishes Book on Transition from Nurse to Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Deborah Dillon, clinical associate professor, recently had her book, Successful Transition to Practice: A Guide for the New Nurse Practitioner, published by McGraw-Hill Education/Medical.
A teacher-scholar, Dillon's book helps nurses learn together as they work to become nurse practitioners. It addresses the most confusing aspects of transitioning from studies to full-time work, including application for licensure, expectations in an interview, insurance needs, hospital credentialing and more.
