  • Early Action: November 15
    • Physician Assistant Studies:  The deadline to apply for this program is November 15. Select Early Action on the application. The application review committee begins to review applications for this program after the deadline.
  • Regular Decision: January 15

Next steps

After you submit your application, you will have access to your applicant portal where you'll find a checklist of additional materials that may be required. (You'll receive an email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with login information within two business days. 

This checklist may include transcripts, letters of recommendation, essay and standardized test scores (or learn more about test-optional admission).

Recommendations

One recommendation from a teacher or counselor is required for the Physician Assistant program. Recommendations are optional for applicants to all other programs. If the recommendation is required for your program it will be included in your checklist in your portal. 

Recommendations can be mailed to the Office of Admissions with the recommendation cover letter or emailed to recommendationsFREEDUQUESNE.

Financial Aid

Submit your FAFSA* and any applicable state grant applications. Duquesne's school code is 003258. Be sure to list Duquesne as your top choice for the PA State Grant if you are a resident. Learn more about our PA State Grant match.

Transfer students will need to update these to Duquesne's school code.

Scholarships

You are automatically considered for academic scholarships based on your test scores and/or high school grades when you apply for admissions. Start planning ahead by reviewing the ranges for first-year scholarships or transfer scholarships and check out our Net Price Calculator.
