Tuition and Fees for Academic Year 2020 - 2021

Duquesne University faculty and staff have prepared for exceptional conditions during the semester ahead in fall 2020 due to COVID19. They have adapted courses, out-of-classroom learning experiences, expected support services, and various aspects of student life. The very campus itself has new protective measures and physical changes, all to create an educational environment where teaching, learning, creative expression and academic research focused on the free exchange of ideas among a company of scholars can continue and thrive.

Through the course of the fall 2020 semester, there is no guarantee that the COVID-19 pandemic will not create conditions requiring the University to adapt again. Our planning has anticipated this. Duquesne is well prepared to switch to remote instruction, either on campus or, if it becomes necessary to close campus for health and safety purposes. Tuition and fees for the academic year reflect the measures taken to provide the highest quality education possible during these extraordinary times, as well as the continued opportunity for students to work with Duquesne faculty in their chosen programs and majors, whether in-person, in a hybrid arrangement, or remotely.

Duquesne's tuition reflects our legacy of academic excellence, our quality academic programs, faculty and facilities.

  • Tuition is reviewed and adjusted each year.
  • Tuition varies by school and program.
  • In addition to tuition, students may also incur fees for administrative services, room and meals, if applicable.
