We are looking forward to working with you!
We want to hear from you!
There are many offerings to support your recruiting needs, including our posting system, recruitment events and programs, professional development sessions, and avenues for networking. Tell us more about your recruitment needs via our Recruitment Interest Form and someone from our team will follow up with you.
Career fairs are an excellent way to maximize recruiting efforts and develop brand
awareness. Duquesne University hosts several Career Fairs each year to assist in your
recruiting efforts. In addition to our biannual Career Fair held on campus in the
Fall and Spring semester, there are other opportunities regionally and program specific
that may be of interest to you. The best way to offer your opportunities to our students is to post on Handshake. Handshake is a powerful, modern platform for college recruiting and offers many
great features for your team: New users must first register with Handshake to create an account within the Duquesne University employer database. Click "sign
up for an account", then "employer" and fill out your personal information. Specify
the types of students you wish to recruit (majors) and read through the "employer
guidelines". Confirm your email via the email sent from Handshake. Find and join your
company and connect to schools. Once you are an approved user, you will be able to post jobs and internships. You
will be able to post recruiting events, register for job fairs, as well as request
dates for On-Campus Recruiting. The Center for Career Development applies the NACE Principles for Professional Practice in determining how to effectively work with our customers. Employers recruiting on-campus will be expected to maintain Equal Employment Opportunity
compliance and follow affirmative action principles in recruitment activities. Employers
must also follow US Department of Labor and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as local, state, and federal laws. Employers should consider all interested
students for employment opportunities without regard to race, religion, nationality,
age, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, while providing reasonable accommodations
upon request. The Center for Career Development will not allow postings where the work assignment
negatively affects the academic progress of a student, or the employing organization
requires or encourages a student to discontinue his or her academic program of study. At any time, the Center for Career Development reserves the right to refuse service
to any employer if, in the sole determination of the Center: Duquesne students and alumni offer a wide range of educational backgrounds, interests,
and skills. Learn more about our academic programs as well as our Fact Book demographics to help guide your recruitment efforts.Connect with Students

We will review the position to ensure that it is credit-worthy and contact you if
additional information is necessary.

of requested date(s). Once we have confirmed your reservation, detailed information
regarding recruiting procedures will be sent to you.
