Duquesne School of Business Offers Fully Online Micro-Credential Program

Working professionals will now learn additional skills in finance, accounting, business law and management, thanks to a new online micro-credential program in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business.

"In today's volatile and uncertain business climate, lifelong learning has become the norm-perhaps a necessity for a successful career," says Dr. Karen Donovan, associate dean of Graduate Programs & Executive Education in the School of Business.

"Duquesne is in the business of difference making and our Business Essentials Micro-credential provides participants with important tools that can be leveraged to increase business acumen and provide immediate returns to employers."

The nine-credit non-degree certificate program can be completed in two semesters, completely online. The five-course program is geared toward business leaders who want to expand their business expertise, but are unsure whether graduate study is the right fit.

For students who do plan to pursue graduate study, the Business Essentials micro-credential provides smooth pathways for admission and advanced standing credit toward both the Professional MBA and MS in Management programs.

"Our online program delivers an innovative, flexible and affordable format and provides a smooth pathway for various graduate business degrees," says Donovan.
