Duquesne University Ranked No. 55 by Pharmacy Technician Review

Duquesne’s Mylan School of Pharmacy has been ranked No. 55 by Pharmacy Technician Review (PTR) in its inaugural Top 75 Pharmacy Schools in the U.S. list. In addition, Duquesne ranked No. 10 in the organization’s Top 20 Pharmacy Schools of the East Coast and No. 10 in its Top 25 Private Pharmacy Schools in the U.S. lists.

For the Top 75 rankings, PTR considered more than 100 schools across the country. Criteria included academic reputation, admission selectivity, depth and breadth of the program and faculty, size and scope of the pharmacy school class, and value as it relates to tuition.

According to the PTR website, the rankings lists were developed to provide aspiring pharmacists with a starting point to discover schools that are “the best fit for them” as well as to “give students access to information so they can make informed decisions about schools they choose to attend and the programs they pursue.”

PTR is an online resource that provides simplified, state-specific information regarding the pharmacy technician field, including licensing and training requirements.
