Monday September 30th
Blanket Making Luncheon
Noon, Africa Room
Looking for a chance to serve but don't have time in the craziness of life? Join for lunch as we share a meal and make blankets for families in Mullens, West Virginia. Debbie Kostosky of Spiritan Campus Ministry will also be giving a short reflection on why she started this project, and how we can all find ways to serve as a part of our Mission here at DU. -RSVP HERE
Wine into Water
4:30pm - 6:30pm Africa Room
This event supports the work of Pure Thirst and their work with the Spiritan Mission in Olkokola Tanzania. Students will be sharing their experience there this summer learning about the effect of the water crisis in this area. Tickets will cover two glasses of wine along with snacks. We will also be featuring new local wineries this year! Come have a drink for a great cause!

University Birthday Party
11:00am-2:00pm on Academic Walk
Come and celebrate our 141st birthday as a university! There will be games, t-shirts, cookies, a photo booth, and more!

3:00pm, all Residence Hall lobbies, Noon in the Commuter Center
Head to the lobby of your Residence Hall (3:00pm) or the Commuter Lounge (Noon) to sing Happy Birthday and enjoy some cake!

Feast Day of Claude Poullart des Places Liturgy

Join us for Mass as we celebrate the feast day of the founder of the Spiritans Claude Poullart des Places!

Join us for a celebratory lunch in honor of des Places Day! Dan Smolsky, 2019 Freshman Orientation Director will be giving a reflection on what it has meant to him to live the Mission of Duquesne during his four years here.

We will be doing our traditional Feast on Feast days give way to celebrate des Places! Come out and get yourself some FREE NACHOS as we celebrate the founder of the Spiritans, Claude Poullart des Places.

As a part of Heritage Week, the Consortium for Muslim Christian Dialogue (CCMD) is hosting a symposium celebrating the 8th centenary of St. Francis' encounter with Malik al-Kamil and the 10th Anniversary of the CCMD
