M.B.A./Master of Health Administration

Joint degrees are offered between the Flex M.B.A./Master in Health Administration. The Flex M.B.A./Master in Health Administration requires a total of 60 credits.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study. Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Health Sciences. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

Graduation Requirements for the M.B.A./Master of Health Administration

Students will complete all required coursework for the Flex M.B.A. and Master of Health Administration programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:

  • Students will earn credit for HADM 505 Healthcare Managerial Accounting (3 cr.) by taking ACCT-515 Accounting for Decision Makers (3 cr.).
  • Students will earn credit for HADM 514 Healthcare Marketing and Strategic Planning (3 cr.) by taking MKTG 522 Marketing in the Digital Age (3 cr.).
  • Students may use HADM-529 Operations & Quality Management in Healthcare and their 6 credits of MHA Concentration courses in lieu of the 9 credits of certificate coursework in the MBA. Note that students would not receive a Graduate Certificate along with their MBA.
