Deliver transformative impact
We are in the business of difference making. Our students are at the core of everything we do. To build stronger external partnerships, we enhance connections among faculty, our centers of excellence, academic programs and hands-on learning experiences. Doing so will help us seize opportunities to solve important business, sustainability, and community challenges.
Our partnership projects include group research of best practices and trends in environmental, social, and governance (ESG), sustainable business practices projects that conclude with a final deliverable presentation and executive summary. Partnership sponsors choose a project topic relevant to their company.
Gain insights from the next generation of business professionals
Tap into the talent and knowledge of our students, who work on identifying, researching,
proposing and/or implementing solutions for real ESG business problems faced by client
organizations. Offered as part of core-required coursework, partnership projects are
completed under the guidance of a faculty member, and are sponsored by organizations
that have a clearly defined business challenge and a vested interest in the outcome.
Palumbo-Donahue School of Business students have completed more than 150 ESG consulting projects, applying their skills in finance, business strategy, marketing, information systems and supply chain management to help client organizations with specific business challenges.
Examples of previous partnership projects include:
- Business plan development
- Business process improvement
- Carbon emissions inventory
- Competitive analysis
- Customer research
- ESG benchmarking
- Financial supplier health analysis
- Market structure analysis
- New business feasibility evaluation
- Systems design and analysis
