Information for Parents

Parents play a crucial role in the success of Division students by:

  • Showing interest in the student's college stories.

  • Supporting the student's best efforts toward academic success.

  • Expecting accountability for failures as well as successes.

  • Learning about Academic Integrity and what it means to a student's success.

Student Information is Private

Parents should understand that the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prohibits University personnel from disclosing information about a student who has reached the age of 18 to any persons not on campus, including parents and/or guardians, unless the student has completed a waiver.
