Take classes this summer

Duquesne offers more than 600 courses and special pricing each summer to help you get ahead, catch up, or focus on a single subject. Duquesne offers multiple Summer start dates in May (May 12, 19), June (June 2, 9, 23) and July (July 7, 14).

  • Current Duquesne students can work with their Success Coaches to select classes to take this summer.
  • Newly admitted Duquesne students can take advantage of a special opportunity to get a head start on earning credits and exploring campus before the fall semester.
  • Visiting students (students from other colleges/universities) seeking to take courses are welcome at Duquesne! Take courses to transfer to your home university, as a prerequisite, for personal enrichment, or a topic of interest that may help you accomplish your career or personal goals.

At Duquesne, our tuition for summer courses is reduced, and students enjoy complimentary on-campus housing with the purchase of a meal plan.

Duquesne's Dual Enrollment program is an exciting opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to take University courses at Duquesne - at special, reduced tuition rates - and earn up to 30 college credits.

If you're looking to earn your paralegal certification the fastest way possible, apply for the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University Paralegal Institute Daytime Summer Intensive. All classes are online, and students can complete the Certificate in General Practice in only 11 weeks.
