Spirit of Excellence Scholarship

In the spirit of our founding, commitment to excellence, mission of service, and the dimensions of a Duquesne education, Duquesne will award five exceptional leaders with a full-tuition scholarship for four years.

Requirements:

• US citizens who have applied for and been accepted to Duquesne University as a freshman for the fall 2025 academic year
• Have a minimum "B" average
• Show demonstrated achievement and involvement in any activity or endeavor of significance. Applicants will be evaluated on level of achievement, depth of involvement and quality of contribution.
• Submission of scholarship application (including essay and activities resume)

Special consideration will be given to applicants who've overcome hardship, disability, a difficult personal situation, or faced some other disadvantage.

Applications must be submitted no later than January 15, 2025. In addition to the submission of this application, the successful applicant must apply for first-year admission to Duquesne University.
