A combined 129 credits for these two degrees (87 credits for the JD and 42 credits* for the MBA) is reduced to 114-116 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study. Law students may not matriculate into the MBA/JD Joint Degree without the advance approval of the academic Status Committee.

Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Law; however, pursuant to the ABA Standards, students shall only be given credit toward their J.D. degree for course work taken after the student has matriculated into the law school. Students may not take business and law courses simultaneously until after all first year law courses have been completed. For part-time evening law students, this means that business courses may be taken during the summer between the first and second years of law school but not during the fall and spring semesters of either year.

* Up to 6 credits may be waived based on previous coursework in accounting, economics, finance and statistics. To be eligible for a course waiver, a grade of ‘B-‘ or better is required in an approved course taken within the past 5 years.

MBA/Master of Health Administration

A combined 84 credits for these two degrees (42 credits for the Master of Health Administration and 42 credits for the MBA*) is reduced to 66-69 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study. Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Health Sciences. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

MBA/MA in Communication

A combined 72 credits for these two degrees (30 credits for the MA in Communication and 42 credits* for the MBA) is reduced to 66 credits through credit-sharing. Required electives in the MA in Communication program will be fulfilled by MBA courses (6 credits total).

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the Graduate School of Liberal Arts. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

MBA/MS in Analytics & Information Management

A combined 72 credits for these two degrees (30 credits for the MS in Analytics & Information Management and 42* credits for the MBA) is reduced to 67.5 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students may begin their studies in either program. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

MBA/MS in Environmental Science and Management

A combined 78 credits for these two degrees (36 credits for the MS in Environmental Science and Management and 42 credits* for the MBA) is reduced to 70 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Science & Engineering. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

MBA/MS in Finance

A combined 78 credits for these two degrees (36 credits for the MS in Finance and 42* credits for the MBA) is reduced to 63 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students may begin their studies in either program. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

One-Year MBA/MS in Environmental Science and Management

A combined 75 credits for these two degrees (36 credits for the MS in Environmental Science and Management and 39 credits for the One-Year MBA) is reduced to 67 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students should begin their study in the School of Science & Engineering. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

MBA/MS in Industrial Pharmacy

A combined 72 credits for these two degrees (30 credits for the MS in Industrial Pharmacy and 42 credits* for the MBA) is reduced to 61.5 credits through credit-sharing.

Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Pharmacy. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

MBA/PharmD

A combined 256 credits for these two degrees (214 credits for the PharmD and 42 credits* for the MBA) is reduced to 245.5 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students must begin their study in the School of Pharmacy. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The PharmD degree must be conferred prior to or simultaneously with the MBA degree.

MBA/MS in Supply Chain Management

A combined 72 credits for these two degrees (30 credits for the MS in Supply Chain Management and 42* credits for the MBA) is reduced to 66 credits through credit-sharing.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study.

Students may begin their studies in either program. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.
