Professional Certificate Programs

The Center for Environmental Research and Education provides students with opportunities to gain base-level professional knowledge in the fields of environmental science and environmental management. Our offerings include the Certificate in Environmental Management and the Certificate in Environmental Science.

Each professional certificate consists of 18 credits, allowing students to immerse themselves in a comprehensive curriculum. By completing 6 credits of required foundational coursework in Environmental Management and Principles of Environmental Science, students pave the way for their specialization. The remaining 12 credits can be tailored to their specific interests and career aspirations, with a choice between the management or science concentration.
