‘Stand Up for Homeless Children’ Art Installation at Duquesne University
Duquesne University students will stand in silence with a "mask" of a homeless child to raise awareness of the nearly 3,000 homeless children in Allegheny County at its semi-annual Stand Up for Homeless Children event.
Held in partnership with the Homeless Children's Education Fund of Pittsburgh, the event draws much attention on campus as participants stand in silence for approximately 15 minutes for the homeless children who "have no voice."
When: Tuesday, Oct. 18, 12:05 p.m.
Where: Academic Walk, Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
