1 Percussion majors split credits related to MUAP 112 between two teachers.
2 Physics 170—Acoustics is recommended. Available spring semesters only.
3 Six semesters of MUPF 153—Orchestral Rep/Lit are required. Recommended that students begin in the second year.
4 Several Essential Questions Seminars also meet PHIL and/or THEO requirements.
5 Offered in fall semesters of odd-numbered years. Students enroll concurrently in both courses. Each class is a half-semester long. Students will start the semester in Career Perspectives in Music I and switch to Career Perspectives in Music II halfway through the semester. Details of course dates are available in the university’s academic calendar.
6 Occurs each spring—percussion players should take it the spring semester of odd-numbered years.
