Requirements for Pharm.D. Program Transfer Students
The School of Pharmacy accepts applications from academically talented students seeking to transfer from accredited two and four-year colleges throughout the United States to transfer into the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Program. Undergraduate transfer students may choose either the On-Campus pathway or the Online pathway.
Undergraduate transfer students who meet the course requirements and successfully complete the entry level six-year Doctor of Pharmacy program will be awarded a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy Foundations.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for application. In order to be considered competitive, applicants must possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- If applicants have obtained a grade lower than a "C" in a prerequisite course, it is necessary for them to retake that course and get a grade of "C" or above.
- Prerequisite courses are accepted from accredited two-year or four-year U.S colleges and universities or its equivalent.
- Accepted applicants will be required to complete a background check conducted by CastleBranch prior to matriculating to the School of Pharmacy.
Selected applicants will be invited to interview.
