M.B.A./Master of Health Administration
Joint degrees are offered between the Professional M.B.A./Master in Health Administration and the Flex M.B.A./Master in Health Administration. The Professional M.B.A./Master in Health Administration requires a total of 66-69 credits. The Flex M.B.A./Master in Health Administration curricular details are under development and anticipated to be available for the Fall 2025 term.
Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study. Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Health Sciences. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.
Graduation Requirements for the M.B.A./Master of Health Administration
Professional M.B.A.
Students will complete all required coursework for the Professional M.B.A. and Master of Health Administration programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:
- MGMT 523 Applied Business Ethics and BLAW 529 Business Legal Environment are replaced by HADM 520 Healthcare Law and Ethics.
- MGMT 513 Managing People for Sustained Competitive Advantage is replaced by HADM 111 Healthcare Human Resources Management.
- ISYS 525 Managing Information is replaced by HADM 523 Healthcare Information Systems.
- ACCT 515 Accounting for Decision Making replaces HADM 505 Healthcare Managerial Accounting.
- MKTG 535 Marketing Management replaces HADM 514 Healthcare Marketing and Strategic Planning.
- MGMT 545 Executive Insights replaces HADM 532 Leadership in Healthcare Management.
- With prior approval, MGMT 548 Capstone Project may replace HADM 560 Capstone Project.
Flex M.B.A.
The Flex M.B.A./Master of Health Administration curricular details are under development and anticipated to be available for the Fall 2025 term.
