M.B.A./M.S. in Supply Chain Management 

Joint degrees are offered between the Professional M.B.A./M.S. in Supply Chain Management and the Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Supply Chain Management. The Professional M.B.A./M.S. in Supply Chain Management requires a total of 66 credits, and the Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Supply Chain Management requires a total of 48 credits.

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study. Students may begin their studies in either program. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

Graduation Requirements for the M.B.A./M.S. in Supply Chain Management

Professional M.B.A.

Students will complete all required coursework for the Professional M.B.A. and M.S. in Supply Chain Management programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:

  •  ISYS 525 Managing Information is replaced by ISYS 611 IT Ecosystems, Risk, and Compliance.
  • STAT 510 Applied Statistics replaces either ISYS 620 Predictive Analytics with Machine Learning or ISYS 622 Behavioral Analytics.

Flex M.B.A.

Students will complete all required coursework for the Flex M.B.A. and M.S. in Supply Chain Management programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:

  • SCMG 610 The Hidden Engine: How Supply Chains Drive Everything will  count toward both the Flex M.B.A. (as a required elective) and the M.S. in Supply Chain Management.
  • BUBA 510 Analytics for Managerial Decision Making will count toward both the Flex M.B.A. and the MS in Supply Chain Management, as a required course in both programs.
  • Students may use M.S. in Supply Chain Management coursework to satisfy the certificate course requirements in the M.B.A. (note: students would not earn a Business certificate with their M.B.A.).
