M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science & Management 

Joint degrees are offered between the Professional M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management, the One-Year M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management, and the Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management. The Professional M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management requires a total of 70 credits, and the One-Year M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management requires a total of 67 credits. The Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management curricular details are under development and anticipated to be available for the Fall 2025 term 

Students must apply and be accepted to both programs of study. 

Students may begin their study in either the School of Business or in the School of Science & Engineering. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive two degrees and two diplomas. The degrees must be conferred simultaneously.

Graduation Requirements for the M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management

Professional M.B.A.

Students will complete all required coursework for the Professional M.B.A. and M.S. in Environmental Science and Management programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:

  • Five credits of required electives in the M.S. in Environmental Science and Management will be satisfied by M.B.A. coursework.
  • STAT 510 Applied Statistics replaces ENVI 549 Quantitative Environmental Methods.

One-Year MBA

Students will complete all required coursework for the One-Year M.B.A. and M.S. in Environmental Science and Management programs (see those program sections of the Catalog) with the following exceptions:

  • Five credits of required electives in the M.S. in Environmental Science and Management will be satisfied by M.B.A. coursework.
  • STAT 710 Applied Statistics replaces ENVI 549 Quantitative Environmental Methods.

Flex MBA

The Flex M.B.A./M.S. in Environmental Science and Management curricular details are under development and anticipated to be available for the Fall 2025 term.
