We have a dedicated Center for Global Engagement staff who assist students through the application and new student process. Each year,
we welcome students from more than 85 countries.

students helped me a lot. So, I want to do the same.

Why are you a Cultural Ambassador? I am a Cultural Ambassador because I know
how hard it is to transition from one culture to another and I want to help guide
others through that process. That journey never really ends, but it does not have

What is your favorite thing to do in Pittsburgh? I like walking downtown from
Duquesne University because of it's unique location from which every place of convenience
within the city is accessible either by walking, driving or using public transportation.
Specifically, I like hanging out at the Point State Park or Market Square.

Why are you a Cultural Ambassador or ISO member? The transition of moving from
home to new country can be overwhelming at the beginning. ISO allowed me to meet other
international students and it was good to know that I am not the only one having a
hard time but also ISO is a good resource and provides great support.

Why did you chose Duquesne? I chose Duquesne because it is one of the top school
for Pharmacy. The program is good and secured. Moreover, I also prefer the city itself,
beautiful and quiet. It is an ideal city for my college life.
